MISSION STATEMENT
The United German Societies, Cultural & Education Foundation, Inc. is committed to providing
opportunities to perpetuate German culture in Wisconsin.
Your contribution is

General Fund.
Our vision is to maintain and improve our complex, creating a living example of European heritage - a wonderful complement to Glendale's vision of an Old World community. Ask us about improvements and additions
under consideration.
Endowment fund.
The United German Societies seek to create an endowment whose interest can be used to support cultural,
athletic and educational programs - including scholarships open to anyone studying German heritage and culture.
You can give in many

Your donation enhances our community.

United German Societies is composed of the
five clubs: Bavarian Soccer Club Bayerischer Vergnügungs
Club D'Lustig'n Wendlstoana Gesang Verein Bavaria S. V. E. V. D'Oberlandler
Our oldest club, Gesang Verein Bavaria, started in 1895. The Bavarian Soccer Club, established in 1929, today supports teams for ages U-8 to U-100. All clubs build on age-old traditions in dance and song, language and costume, and athletics and culture.

UGS CULTURAL &
EDUCATION FOUNDATION
OFFERS $250 SCHOLARSHIP
TO GERMAN & SOCCER STUDENTS
1. You
must be in at least your third year of German class or in at least your
third year of being on a soccer team.
2. You must have a
minimum GPA of 3.0.
3. You must use the money for tuition, books, supplies or travel
that are related to German or Soccer activities.
4. You must attend a
fully accredited school.
5. You must submit a
report of how the money was used and what you learned.
